Courses Conducted on Prestige Power's Training Vessel

1. All courses are conducted on our training vessel, Lady Hayward, and students are accommodated onboard.

2. The maximum number of students is usually three, and there must be a minimum of two to ensure a course runs.

3. Course fees include accommodation onboard, instruction, mooring fees, fuel and breakfast and lunch. Evening meals, taken ashore, and examination fees are extra.

4. Bedding and foul weather clothing is not provided. Please bring your own sleeping bag etc.

5. All necessary navigation and safety equipment is provided along with a selection of books and publications for reference or for purchase.

Terms of Business

Our vessel is fully insured against Accidents and Third Party Liability, but responsibility is not accepted for personal accidents, damage or loss due to your negligence. You are advised to arrange your own insurance in this regard. The deposit is non refundable once a booking has been accepted. We will try to fill a cancelled booking but half the total fee will be retained to defray costs if the cancellation takes place within four weeks of the commencement of the course. In the event of a course being cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, out liability will be limited to the return of fees and deposits already paid. Unnecessary damage and losses attributed to carelessness on the part of the student will be paid for by that student at replacement price, fair wear and tear will be taken in to consideration.
